Nurtured offers car seat installation services with certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians (CPSAC). This service is only for customers who have purchased their car seat from our store. We regret we are unable to offer installation service for car seats purchased elsewhere. This service only applies to seats purchased from Nurtured by the original owner and is not transferrable. 

We offer the following flat fee services in-person or in a virtual meeting:

• 30 minute Initial One Time Installation
• 30 minute Subsequent Installations (reinstallation, rear facing to forward facing installs, etc.)
• 60 minute Three Across Consultations

What to expect during your appointment:

• An assessment of how your car seat installs best and safest within your vehicle for the current age, stage and development of your child.
  
• Best practice for the daily use of your car seat
• Review of weight and height restrictions of the car seat you are installing 
• Hands-on demonstration showing you the proper way to buckle your baby and/or change headrest, harness and buckle fit as your child grows.
  
• Understanding how to install an your infant car seat without the base (if applicable
• Tips to maintain a tight installation and avoid misuse.
• Tips for buckling up safely for every ride.

• Coaching you through being able to independently install, uninstall or make necessary changes.

Nurtured offers a convenient one time GOLD Membership purchase that entitles you to your initial install, subsequent installs, and installation services of any future car seat purchase(s) from Nurtured for a period of 5 years from the date of purchase. 

Nurtured also offers tutorials designed to assist with 3 Across Car Seat configurations. This service provides insight on using a combination of existing or new car seats that need to accommodate 3 children in one row of your vehicle. It will not include installation of any subsequent car seat purchase but these installs will be offered at a discounted rate of $9.95 per seat. This service is not included as part of the GOLD Membership and is a separate service based on the time scheduled with a CPST.

**Please note that rescheduling or cancelling your appointment must be done no later than 4 hours prior to your appointment or you will forfeit your appointment and not be refunded. A rebooking fee of $14.95 will apply for any subsequent bookings.  

***Why do we charge this fee? In order to provide this service we require trained and certified staff through CPSAC. Our insurer also requires that we have insurance coverage to be able to provide this service. With regret we are unable to provide these services for free as insurance premiums have risen over 300% since 2022.
