Next Day Local Delivery

Nurtured offers Next Day Local Delivery for free as long as you spend a minimum of $99 in many areas of Halifax. In most cases your order will be brought by electric vehicle. We currently deliver to Halifax, Dartmouth, Bedford, Spryfield, Herring Cove, Clayton Park, Fairview, Waverley, Fall River, Windsor Junction, Wellington, Upper, Middle and Lower Sackville, Beaver Bank, Eastern Passage, Porter's Lake, Lake Echo, Musquodoboit Harbour, Beechville, Timberlea, Hubley, Hammonds Plains, Tantallon and other surrounding communities with Halifax Regional Municipality. Please note: This service is offered within select postal codes. In the event you are not offered this option it means that your postal code is excluded. You will still be offered in store pick up or shipping by courier.

The Next Day Delivery Fee for amounts up to $59.99 is $5.95. The Next Day Delivery Fee for amounts between $59.99 up to $98.99 is $3.95. The Next Day Delivery Fee for amounts over $99 is FREE.

Orders that are placed by 11am will be delivered by the following day no later than 8pm (excluding orders placed Saturday and Sundays which will be delivered on Tuesdays. Packages will be left at your front door or in the common area of your building without contact.

Once your order has been picked you will receive an email saying that we have completed your order and it is awaiting pick up by the courier company. Once your driver has been assigned you will receive a text letting you know who has your package. The driver will also contact you 10-15 minutes prior to delivery by text that your package is arriving.

Please note: Local delivery works with Shop Pay, but doesn't work with other accelerated checkouts such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, Amazon Pay, or PayPal. If you choose one of these options in the first step of the checkout, then you won't have local delivery as a shipping method. However, you will still have the option to ship the package using our shipping rates.

Canadian Order Shipping

Nurtured offers Free Shipping based on the total of your order and the province in which you reside. Your options will be displayed once you enter your billing and shipping information during the check out process.

Current shipping rates are as follows:

Free Shipping within Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland, Ontario and Quebec when you spend over $99. For orders totalling less than this our flat rate shipping is $12.95 in the Maritimes and $14.95 for Newfoundland, Ontario and Quebec.

Free shipping is offered within Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Alberta and British Columbia and the Territories when you spend over $175. A flat rate of $17.95 will be applied for orders under $175.

Nurtured will use the most economical method that can be found for your shipping address. This includes Local Independent Couriers, Canada Post, UPS, FedEx Ground, FedEx Overnight, CanPar Courier or Purolator Courier. The carrier will be chosen based on your province and location. This shipping option will include parcel tracking and $100 insurance. In many cases you will not be required to sign for items - please call ahead if you would like your order to require a signature. This will incur a $5 fee.

Any items larger than maximum dimensions allowable by the carrier will require shipping via courier or freight truck. Exact shipping charges will apply on orders over 5 kg/10 lbs or shipping fees that total more than 10% of your order total before taxes. You will be contacted once your order is placed. Please contact us for a shipping quote if you require one or place your order now and be notified if any additional shipping fees apply. Sale items or items that are marked Clearance or Final Sale may not count towards Free or Flat Rate Shipping totals. These items may be assessed an additional charge. You will be contacted after your order is placed or you can contact us before you place your order.
Applicable tax will be added to all shipping rates.
Large, bulky items including high chairs, car seats, mattresses and anything oversized may be charged additional shipping on a case by case basis. Nurtured will assume that we can offer you the shipping option that our system defaults to. In the event that the shipping rate is more than Nurtured can absorb you will be contacted for additional payment or you will be able to cancel your order without penalty.

Shipping to remote and/or Northern areas of Canada may require additional shipping charges and may only be available using Canada Post. Continental US Shipping

We regret that we have suspended shipping to the US effective August 24, 2025. This is due to the excessive tariffs payable by consumers in the US who no longer receive an $800 exemption when cross border shopping. Please contact is for further details.

Some products cannot be shipped to the US. You will be notified if this applies to your order. Our shipping prices to the US are just a guide. You will be notified if additional shipping is required and you will also be refunded if your actual shipping is less than what you have been charged. You may further be required to pay duty, customs and a brokerage fee.

International Orders

We do not ship orders internationally via our website. Please call us at (902) 405-4367 to ask if we can ship a particular product to you in your location. Availability and shipping costs will vary based on your location.

A Note About Packaging

We recycle boxes and packing material. When you receive your order from us, it will be in a previously-mailed box and may also contain recycled bubble wrap or other packing material. We encourage you to reuse the packaging as well wherever possible, and if not possible, please recycle!

Gift Purchases

We offer gift bag presentation if you are purchasing a gift for pick up or local delivery. Your items will be be placed in a Nurtured bag with tissue and a ribbon. If you would like this service please leave a note in the comment field upon checkout. A gift note can be added at no charge, blank gift cards are available for $5.95 plus tax.
