Refund policy

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

ORDER CANCELLATIONS We process orders as fast as we can including payment capture completion and order fulfillment. Cancellation of online orders must be within 1 hour of order time. In the event you wish to cancel after 1 hour then please refer to the Return Policy below as a cancellation / restocking fee will be charged.  

RETURN POLICY: Refunds or exchanges will be permitted with receipt or gift receipt only. You have 14 days to return unused items in their original condition with receipt and original packaging for a refund in the form of original payment. All items labelled CLEARANCE are FINAL SALE cannot be returned or exchanged for store credit. Please note that returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee to recoup fees paid originally by credit card online or instore. Purchases made by cash, e-transfer or Interac will not incur a return fee.

EXCHANGE POLICY: You may exchange your purchase for store credit for items returned within 30 days of the date of original purchase. After 30 days, items cannot be returned and are FINAL SALE.

GIFT RECEIPT or GIFT REGISTRY POLICY: You may exchange your purchase for store credit for items returned within 60 days of the date printed on your gift receipt. You must present a gift receipt for all products. This excludes items marked as Clearance or Final Sale and the return must to our meet our return policy.

SALE ITEMS and SALE EVENTS: Any items purchased as part of store events, brand sales or events such as Black Friday or Boxing Day sales are not ever eligible for return or exchange.

We are passionate about maintaining high standards and cannot take back items that have been used, damaged or are not clean. Items must be unopened and in the original packaging with tags. Products that have been opened and assembled are not eligible for return. In addition the following items are always Final Sale: Car Seats & Additional Bases, Breast Pumps & accessories once opened, Bath Tubs & Bathing Accessories, Skin Care Products, Toothbrushes & Toothpaste once opened, Potty Seats and Potty Pants once opened, Special Order or Pre-Order Items including strollers and furniture, Clearance Items, Gift Cards, Mattresses & Mattress Covers, and Furniture. In the event your order was shipped or delivered by us then the timing noted for returns and exchanges starts the day your order was delivered by us or our couriers. Shipping fees will not be refunded and any amount paid by us to deliver your package will be deducted from your refund amount.

Please note that we strive to provide you with on-going support to help you select the products most appropriate for your family. Please feel free to ask as many questions as needed before placing your order to help ensure you are fully happy with your purchase.  

ORDERS WE DELIVER OR SHIP TO YOU: The same conditions must be satisfied above but the effective date will be the day that your items were delivered by our couriers. All online orders requiring a return or exchange must have prior approval by Nurtured Products for Parenting Inc. We reserve the right to refuse delivery of any packages that do not have prior approval.  To initiate a return please email a copy of your invoice or order confirmation to info@nurtured.ca.

Return shipping to Nurtured Products for Parenting for all returns are non-refundable and are the responsibility of the customer. The customer will also be responsible for the original shipping charges against any returns. For greater clarity: You will not be refunded any shipping charges for which you paid. Additionally, if you were shipped (or had items delivered) based on our free shipping and delivery programs you will be charged the actual shipping fee we incurred if the return of any item reduces your original order total below the free shipping or delivery threshold. This will be in the form of a reduction in the price refunded for the item you have returned. For Local Delivery you will be assessed a fee of $5.95+HST. 

What if there’s a product defect?

If your product has a defect due to manufacturing then please let us know immediately upon receiving your order. We will assist as we can but in some cases you will be referred to the manufacturer. Clothing items may be covered under warranty for production defects such as snap or zipper issues or issues with seams. Unfortunately we are unable to provide warranty assistance for picks or runs in fabric once something has been received. If you require assistance with handling a defect in your order, please contact us for further instructions within 10 days of receiving your order. 

We do not keep in-store purchases on file, please keep your receipt. A RECEIPT IS REQUIRED FOR ALL WARRANTY CLAIMS.
