Stockmar Watercolour Paint Basic Set - 6 Colours (20ml)

A beautiful introduction to colour mixing for young artists. The Stockmar Watercolor Paints Basic Set includes six carefully selected colours that can be mixed together to create a wide range of new shades. It is an excellent choice for kindergarten and early elementary aged art, especially when using the wet-on-wet painting technique with a painting board and sponge.

Stockmar watercolors are widely used in Waldorf education, kindergartens, and schools because they are encourage children to explore colour through hands-on, open-ended painting. They are non-toxic, long-lasting and lightfast. The transparent colours blend smoothly, helping children discover how primary and secondary colours are created while developing focus, coordination, and confidence.

The paints remain water soluble when dry, making them easy to reactivate and use again. We recommend dedicating jars with lids to your painting set up.
