Product Description

Buckle up because you're in for a roller coaster of a read in this 2-in-1 Flip Me Over Book!

One side features:

Round and Round the Roundabout - A boatload of poems like , Are You a Duck? and A Foggy Halifax Dog Tale or Why is the Oval, Oval? celebrate beloved HRM and it's local areas: Halifax and Dartmouth, Fall River, Clayton Park and more.

And the other is:

Don't Roll Down Citadel Hill - When cautioned by their grandmother not to roll down Citadel Hill in Halifax, Nova Scotia, do you think 3 grandchildren listen and heed this advice?

Author and Poet, Joanne Abrahams, is a retired teacher and writer with 3 grandchildren and a love for crocheting.

Illustrator Jillian Jackson's artwork will both thrill and captivate readers of all ages. Her characters are full of life and poem layouts even toss in silly yellow ducks (to help the beat) in the midst of the words for Shubie Park Shuffle.

You're invited to the fun! Read the book once, twice, and then twice again! Readers will also enjoy taking a break to find a seagull on nearly every page.
