Nicole Poirier is originally from Chéticamp, Nova Scotia. Her writing is based on her experiences as a kindergarten teacher and her work in educational support services. She also created the character of Nico, who tells stories and hosts gatherings with children. Dans ma boite à diner is her fifth book published by Bouton d’or Acadie.

Camille Perron-Cormier was born in Moncton, New Brunswick. She works in graphic design, illustration and comics, and gives workshops for young people. She was named Discovery of the Year 2024 by

Les Éloizes for her comic SOS sorcières (2023). She also created the magnificent illustrations for Adieu, Jacoby! (2020) and Sous mon bateau (2022).
