High Back belt positioning booster that provides a next step car seat solution for children form approximately 6-10 years of age.
Designed for children at least 6 years old who demonstrate and ability to sit properly in the seat with the shoulder and lap belt properly positioned on their body. It is critical that the child meets the height and weight requirements which are:
40-100 lbs
38-57” in height
For use with shoulder and lap belt (Not intended for use with lap belt only.)
The Alta must be used with the seat back attached thus providing superior side impact protection.
Lap belt positioner is not required though it is important to hep fit the the child’s pelvis thus preventing submarining and possible abdominal injuries
The SecureFit belt rowing system combines well marked guides with a recessed shoulder belt well to help retain the belt and a lap bet positioned that secures and positions the lap belt for proper fit while preventing submarining.
UPPAbaby does not promote the use of the ALTA until the child is at least 6 years old, 40lbs and 38” in height
Storing the UAS and only using the seat belt is possible where some seat installations may be 11” apart or a dedicated UAS is not possible.
