So grateful for this workshop
I feel compelled to share what a wonderful experience we had at this workshop. Jen Hammond is truly an amazing, gifted educator who brings knowledge, compassion and objectivity to this class. My husband and I were so grateful to have this workshop time together. We both walked away feeling really empowered and excited about our journey. My husband left our day feeling more confident in how he can be a support system and I feel much more informed, capable and empowered. Regardless of how much research you've done or people you've spoken with, I highly recommend taking the time to attend this workshop.

Expectant mom
This workshop was really helpful for labour and childbirth preparation. I would have liked more focus on breastfeeding and newborn care. However, the teacher was very helpful in providing information and answering any questions we had.

Very informative class
Jen was a wonderful instructor and clearly passionate about her work. We found the tips for labour to be especially helpful and very tailored to preparing for the experience here in Halifax, if you are delivering at the IWK

One Day Prenatal Class
We were part of Jens small prenatal class on Nov 7th and we found it very resourceful. Jen does a great job explaining and presenting the wide variety of topics that new parents need to be aware of. The day flew by and we came away feeling like we had really taken in a lot of useful information. Thank you!

This class was essential to feeling prepared and confident with many important topics: nutrition, biomechanics, labour/delivery. Pain management, baby wearing, breastfeeding. The class was welcoming and supportive. We felt comfortable asking questions and felt that Jennifer our doula teacher presented research based and up to date information.

Great Class!
I'm really enjoying this class. With the IWK and other locations cancelling their prenatal classes, I was a bit worried about what I was going to do. While there is a lot of access to information these days, the one-on-one time with Jen has really helped. She is very informative and gives the good, bad, and ugly of everything (but always does so in a very positive way). I feel much better knowing what my options are and being prepared for any situation that may arise. I definitely recommend this class to anyone who is thinking about doing classes, but is uncertain about paying for it. Worth the money in my opinion!
