For some women this can be an uncomfortable and sometimes painful process. When the baby arrives, new challenges and issues can arise and many women don’t know where to turn or if these things are normal.

About Krista Ross (MScPT)
Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist and mother, Krista Ross (MScPT), holds a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology (Hons) from St. Francis Xavier University and a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University. Since her graduation in 2012, she has obtained experience in a wide variety of populations, including neurological, orthopaedic, paediatric, vestibular/vertigo and pelvic health. Following graduation, she completed her Level 1 Advanced Manual Therapy skills training, giving her a more ‘hands-on’ approach to physiotherapy. She has also spent time teaching and assisting upper-level students at the Dalhousie School of Physiotherapy.
Krista has a special interest in women’s health, is passionate about helping others and is a huge advocate for her profession. As a mom of two young boys, she gained a better understanding of the effects of pregnancy and motherhood and aims to help women enjoy and stay active during these special times in life. She is currently studying to become a Rost-certified pelvic floor physiotherapist which gives her further expertise in the area of physiotherapy during pregnancy.
